Q. I am 70 year old. Can I take advantage of low-cost but high quality surgeries outside the U.S. coordinated by UniLife?
A. Certainly. However, UniLife requires ALL the clients to produce a clearance from local treating provider certifying that the patient is fit to undertake a long journey.
Q. I do not know how to get a visa. Who will help me with that?
A. Unilife will help you with that. UniLife can also help get the visa for your companion.
Q. Which airline should I choose?
A. Our partner travel service agencies will help you choose the right airline for you.
Q. I want to visit Taj Mahal. Can I include that in my itinerary?
A. Absolutely. Our partner travel service agencies will help you with that.
Q. How many individuals of UniLife will I be dealing with?
A. Only one. Your Case Assistant! He/She will be the single point of contact.
Q. How many invoices I will receive?
A. Only one if you choose to prepay for surgery as well. Two invoices, if you choose to pay the hospital directly. In either case, we will provide you with a fixed quote before you sign up with UniLife.
Q. How do I keep in touch with my family here in the U.S. when I am traveling overseas?
A. UniLife provides you with a pre-programmed cell phone free that can be used by you until you return.
Q. I want to buy travel insurance. Who can help with that?
A. UniLife requires you to have travel insurance. UniLife provides it for free as this is included in the package.
Q. Can I have international cuisine through out my stay?
A. Absolutely. All the airlines, hospitals and hotels in our network provide international cuisine. If you have any other special need, please let your Case Assistant know. He/she will gladly arrange that.
Q. I want to finance this package. How do I do it?
A. UniLife will help secure you a loan for surgery and travel.
Q. Can I talk to the doctor on phone before I start traveling?
A. Absolutely. UniLife will arrange a conference call with your surgeon.
Q. Can I contact the doctor after I return?
A. Yes, you can. Comprehensive report along with contact information will be given to you by the doctor before you are discharged.
